Robots Alive specialises in technologies and solutions that bridge robotic domains.
Blending cutting edge software technology with the state of the art engineering, Robots
Alive supports customers by developing highly efficient and profitable robotic solutions,
products and services. The objective of my diploma project was to develop a Robotic Kit
for children to play and learn doing different things. The kit had to be in a format where
things were easy to assemble and different forms could be created out of it. The project
involved developing my own understanding of Robots and then conducting research
with various groups of people to know their understanding about robots. The challenge
was to develop a robotic kit for children which could incorporate learning through play
as the retention of that learning would be long lasting. So I focused on the Play and
Learn method. As the outcome of the project, two kits – Beginners and Advance Kit were
developed and tested. The entire project was a great learning experience for me as I
went through several stages of understanding, researching, developing and testing two
kits of the Robotic Kit for children.
