My project aimed to position a strong brand like Monarch Projects and Finmarket Limited for market capitalization at the national level, increase its consumer base, and enhance its brand recall value.
Monarch is a company that helps people buy and sell shares. Monarch Projects and Finmarket Limited has been established in the stock market for 15 years now. It has a registered office at Mumbai and a corporate office at Ahmedabad. I got the opportunity to work on the re-branding of Monarch through Vama Communications Ahmedabad.
The project started with pitching presentations at Monarch. Finally, when Vama Communications got the project, I took it up as my diploma project. The best part about the project was that I was responsible for all the presentations, time-schedule, meetings, discussions, deliverables and all else.
As the project moved forward, there were many client meetings, which lent me an understanding of the client’s requirement apart from the demands of the market. As the project involved re-branding of a company dealing in stocks, I had to acquire an in-depth understanding of the stock market. My study made me realize the huge number of successful finance and commodity brokers existing today in the Indian market. Therefore, to position Monarch against the competition, a corporate identity needed to be designed and its application on different media also needed to be worked out.
The scope of my work ranged from understanding business profiles, client profiles, client business profiles; identifying aspects like functionality and use of branding and the competitors; to creating visual identity incorporating all contents representing the vision and mission of the company.
